Public discussion event as part of our ‘What about exclusion?’ series, on how the mechanics of our media shape the voices we hear.

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Join us to hear from speakers including journalists and academics on the subject of exclusion in the media. The multidisciplinary panel will reflect upon their experience, learnings and research into the mechanisms and consequences of exclusion in the media.

This event is part of the ‘What about exclusion?’ series, coordinated by ANTITHESES, a multidisciplinary Wellcome Discovery Research Platform at the University of Oxford. ANTITHESES addresses an urgent need for research that can engage meaningfully with the radical value disagreements, polarisation, and informational uncertainty characteristic of contemporary medical science, practice, and policy.
